PROGRAM OVERVIEW
1. Corrections Program - (Pogue Rehabilitation Center & McMahon Hall) Provides residents with community linkage, housing support, employment assistance and readiness, budgeting, education groups including: life skills, corrective thinking, anger management, and employment.
2. AoD Program – ODADAS Certification to provide: alcohol and other drug assessment, testing, and treatment
3. Mental Health Transition Program (ReNew) – assessment and treatment of mental disorders including, severe mental illness. Psychiatric assessment and medication monitoring provided as well.
4. Sex Offender Program (New Life) – Inpatient and Outpatient sex offender treatment. A cognitive behavioral program with a focus on relapse prevention. Psychiatric assessment and polygraph component of program.
5. Transitional Control (McMahon) – employment or educational program that allows resident to work or attend school on a full-time basis. Participation in AoD counseling as needed.
 
ADMISSIONS REJECTIONS
  • Male supervision under probation, community control, parole, post release control, transitional control (McMahon)
  • Offenders with sex offenses or murder offenses will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Offenders with severe mental illness, cognitive/developmental disorders, or medical condition will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • MRDD clients reviewed on a case by case basis.
  • Offender with severe cognitive/developmental disorders
  • Offender with mental illness not stabilized on psychotropic medications
  • Offender with significant medical problems that prohibit participation in treatment
  • Sex Offenders unreceptive to treatment
