PROGRAM OVERVIEW
ARCA, Inc.

ARCA is an acronym for "Accepting Responsibility, Changing Attitudes"
  • A systems approach is used with cognitive/behavioral modalities.
  • The program is goal driven and each goal is individually tailored according to the needs and circumstances of each resident.
  • Residents are taught how to successfully transition to community life, as independently as possible, in a manner that will be sustainable, comfortable, legal and safe.

    Services include, but are not limited to:
  • Cognitive skills
  • Extensive vocational services.
  • Family therapy and reunification.
  • Substance abuse treatment and aftercare.
  • Literacy/GED classes
  • Financial education
  • Life skills
  • Socialization skills
  • Communication skills
  • Parenting
  •  
    ADMISSIONS REJECTIONS
    We accept most adult women previously incarcerated, including those with
    mental illness, mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.

    We maintain a “no reject" policy. Sex offenders are accepted on case by case basis.
